Answer by David Beauchemin for \renewcommand{\refname}{} does not remove "References"

For my part I used these command:

\bibliographystyle{plain} % bib style    %%% change name of biliography    \renewcommand{\bibname}{} %%no name

I just tested it on a article I wrote and it worked fine.
